I thought it'd be interesting to know your thoughts on this subject....
Obama said something about being Americans becoming multilingual and the need to learn foreign languages, which means IF he becomes president that might be something he'd instate. Sure it may be a ploy to gain Hispanic voters but do you think it is important that American's become multilingual or just make English the national language and call it a day. Comment on your vote and stuff.

Make English the national language and call it a day.

Obama is the socialist that people should be worried about. How dare him say they we should learn a new language. Enstate English as the national language and we wouldn't have all these language problems in this country. I have no idea why it isn't yet.

Learning another language and forcing a specific language is a different thing. Obama wants everyone to speak Spanish in the USA since he wants Mexico and the USA to become one area.

Dangerous times we live in, the threat is from the inside and most sheeple don't know it.

You're not required to take a language. I guess it might depend what state you're in. I don't think you should have to speak anything other than your native language unless you're moving to another country or you have a job that requires you to travel to other countries. But sometimes it can be fun to learn a new language, nya. =3

I agree. If someone moves to America from another country they should have to learn English. It's their choice to come here so why should we have to learn their language? Even if it's not very good English, and they have a thick accent or something along those lines, atleast they're trying and you have to give them credit for that.

But you see I have mexican blood in me but the people from Mexico in my family are from way way way back then though so I am mexican american.
You see I have no problem with them coming to america but they have to Be a citizen and learn freaking English if they want to stay in the U.S.

Not to mention the fact that these fucking Illegal Mexicans come here, have a dozen kids, go to our Public Schools and take education away from MY kids cause we cater to their needs of trying to teach their kids our Language. My tax dollars to pay for some little illegal mexi-baby to learn English? Fucking fucked up Country.
